Sigma Press is an independent publisher of regional walking and cycling guides and local interest books.

We are based in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, in a converted barn, where our enthusiastic team produce a range of books from guides exploring mountains to our ‘Walking on the Level' and ‘All-Terrain Pushchair Walks' series, covering the all the popular National Park areas as well as many of other regions in the UK.

The company was started 30 years ago by Graham Beech, an avid walker and cyclist, based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Since Graham retired in 2008, the business has been developing under the ownership of Nigel and Jane Evans, who moved the business to near their home in Ammanford.

We publish approximately 40 new books each year and have around 140 books available from the backlist.
